AGM technology
The YTX9-BS Power Thunder is a motorcycle battery that uses AGM technology (Absorbent Glass Mat). This technology makes it a battery sealed and resistant to vibrations, ideal for motorcycles and motor vehicles. It ensures excellent cold start even in difficult weather conditions. However, requires you to add the electrolyte before use, which will activate the battery. Once this step is completed, the battery will be sealed.
You can't settle down due to its structure, which makes it perfect for conventional installation positions.
Steps to fill the electrolyte:
- Preparation: Place the battery on a flat and well ventilated surface. Hand-held gloves and glasses.
- Add electrolyte: The battery comes with an electrolyte kit. Remove the covers from the battery compartments. Place the electrolyte container over the filling holes and empty the content without pressing the container.
- Sealing: Once the electrolyte has been added, wait a few minutes for it to be completely absorbed. Then place the covers of the compartments and press them firmly.
- Initial charges: After filling, it is recommended to charge the battery before installing it to ensure its optimal performance.
Tools necessary for change:
- Key or screwdriver to remove the screws from the battery compartment.
- Protective gloves.
- Battery charger (optional for initial charge).
Installation on your motorcycle or vehicle:
It is easy to install on a variety of motorcycles, scooters and SUVs. You just need to disconnect the previous battery, remove the screws, place the new battery and make sure the connections are well adjusted.
