Thanks to the application of the recombination principle (VRLA), the battery requires no maintenance. The acidic vapours that form in the battery are converted back into acid inside the battery; for this reason the battery is completely watertight. It is therefore neither necessary nor possible to fill it with water. The battery should not be opened, as this would result in its destruction and total loss of warranty
GEL batteries are already filled with battery acid (fixed in gel), so they should not be opened under any circumstances. No further preparation of the battery is necessary. To reach the full power of the battery, it is advisable to fully charge it before the first use.
