Battery range JMT GEL has almost all the references equivalent to AGM batteries and open leaded batteries or also called with maintenance; for the latter, those of GEL are a great advantage, since we will not have to be aware of the water level of the battery or fill them with distilled water. Look for the GEL equivalent of your motorcycle battery with maintenance.

This for use in the manufacture of motor vehicles, the acid in the battery is fixed in a gel, which cannot escape from the battery, even in case of damage to the casing.

Thanks to the application of the recombination principle (VRLA), the battery requires no maintenance. The acidic vapours that form in the battery are converted back into acid inside the battery; for this reason the battery is completely watertight. It is therefore neither necessary nor possible to fill it with water. The battery should not be opened, as this would result in its destruction and total loss of warranty

Commissioning of the GEL battery

GEL batteries are already filled with battery acid (fixed in gel), so they should not be opened under any circumstances. No further preparation of the battery is necessary. To reach the full power of the battery, it is advisable to fully charge it before the first use.
