Why buy a lithium battery for my motorcycle?

Due to their specific properties,lead-acid batteries can only use 30% of their capacity for starting, while lithium batteries use almost 100% of their capacity, this translates into an incredibly higher starting power.

For this reason, LITHIUM versions of BS BATTERY batteries require only 1/3 of the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery for the same starting power.

An integrated processor called a BMS, or load balancer, also ensures a uniform state of charge of all cells.

The dimensions of the LITHIUM batteries match the dimensions of the original lead-acid batteries using adapters.

The connections are identical, so the battery can be replaced in a few minutes without further adjustments.

Please note that only suitable chargers can be used to charge lithium batteries. We recommend JMP automatic lithium battery chargers - OPTIMATE or NOCO GENIUS

For the recommended maximum load currents, please refer to the technical data below.

Under no circumstances should chargers be used that attempt to desulphurize batteries discharged to less than 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before they begin actual charging.

The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts should never be exceeded.

The manufacturer guarantees sufficient starting capacity down to -5 degrees Celsius.

TECHNOLOGY

BS BATTERY's LITHIUM batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and use the lithium polymer process in their manufacture. As a result, they cannot catch fire or explode in normal operation.
